1. Ticket Purchase and Seating:

1.1. Tickets: By purchasing a ticket, volunteering, performing, or otherwise participating in a Poetic Jazz event, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

1.2. Priority Seating: Pre-purchase ticket holders will be granted priority seating until 8:00 PM on the event day. We kindly request that ticket holders arrive promptly to secure their preferred seats.

1.3. Seating After 8:05 PM: After 8:05 PM, any unclaimed seats reserved for pre-purchase ticket holders may be filled by other patrons as they arrive. We recommend arriving early to ensure your desired seating arrangements.

2. Age & BYOB Policy:

2.1. Age Requirement: By purchasing a ticket, volunteering, performing, or otherwise participating in a Poetic Jazz event, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older.

2.2. BYOB (Bring Your Own Wine): Some Poetic Jazz events may be BYOW (Bring Your Own Wine) – only wine is permitted where allowed. All participants are expected to consume responsibly.

2.3. Event-Specific Details: Attendees and participants should review each venue’s characteristics, BYOB status, and any alcohol policies in their confirmation email, event details, and promotional materials (flyer).

2.4. ID Verification: Poetic Jazz staff reserve the right to check IDs at the door and refuse entry, volunteer participation, performance, or service to anyone not complying with the event-specific BYOB policy.

 

3. Photography and Videography:

3.1. Consent: By attending or participating in a Poetic Jazz event, you grant Poetic Jazz and its authorized representatives the right to photograph, film, or otherwise capture your image, likeness, voice, or performance for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use on the Poetic Jazz website, social media channels, promotional materials, and other media platforms.

3.2. Exclusivity: Poetic Jazz reserves the exclusive right to use any such captured materials without further notice or compensation to you.

4. Security and Personal Belongings:

 

4.1. Personal Responsibility: Poetic Jazz is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. However, we are not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings or properties during the event.

4.2. Personal Safety: We encourage all participants to be vigilant and take precautions to safeguard their belongings while attending or participating in our events. Please report any suspicious activity to our staff or security personnel.

 

5. Code of Conduct:

5.1. Respect: Poetic Jazz fosters an inclusive and respectful environment. We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow attendees, performers, volunteers, and staff.

5.2. Compliance: Participants are required to comply with all venue rules and regulations, including those related to noise levels, smoking, and alcohol consumption.

5.3. Ejection: Poetic Jazz reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any participant from an event for disruptive behavior or non-compliance with these terms and conditions without refund.

 

6. Refunds and Exchanges:

6.1. Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable unless an event is canceled or rescheduled by Poetic Jazz, in which case refunds or exchanges may be offered at our discretion.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

 

7.1. Updates: Poetic Jazz may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

By purchasing a ticket, volunteering, performing, or otherwise participating in a Poetic Jazz event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please refrain from purchasing tickets, volunteering, performing, or participating in the event.
