About the Event
Respectfully, we are not too grown for prom. In fact, we might finally be old enough to do it right.
This December, Poetic Jazz is bringing back the anticipation, the getting dressed, the pre-prom pictures, the slow dances, the butterflies, and the excuse to make a whole night out of getting together but with a little more style, a little more freedom, and a lot better music.
Think winter nights in Atlanta. Candlelight. Vintage glamour. Live jazz. Beautiful outfits. Your favorite people. A dance floor that stays full. The kind of night where you look around and realize everybody understood the assignment.
Throughout the evening, expect live performances from Poetic Jazz artists, selections from the Poetic Jazz Band, a curated DJ set, dancing, and a few nostalgic surprises along the way.
And yes, we’re bringing back the Prom Court. Nominations and voting for our prom superlatives will open leading up…
