Founded in 2019 at Black Coffee Company in Lakewood Heights, Atlanta, Poetic Jazz was created as a space where artists could embrace imperfection and simply show up to share what’s on their heart. We provide an improv jazz band that allows independent artists to perform originals, covers, and everything in between without the pressure of perfection. Our experience extends beyond the stage with an open mic that invites the community to sing, speak, create, and be heard. Today, Poetic Jazz brings this unique blend of live music, improv, and community to concerts, private events, and special experiences.
